Our client is looking for a passionate and creative Chef de Partie for the newest addition to their group of family run restaurants. Their new restaurant & seafood bar is located on the Southsea seafront; dishes are all created using fresh, locally sourced produce.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced chef who is looking for an opportunity to join a talented, well established brigade and further their career. They will show enthusiasm, energy, a keenness to embrace new ideas. They will have the ability to help create new menus on a regular basis and will have worked within a busy commercial kitchen environment, preparing and cooking dishes using fresh produce.
·Managing your own section
·Producing menu items in accordance with the Head Chef’s instructions
·Mentoring junior members of the kitchen team
·Working closely with/supporting senior chefs
·Maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene
·Awareness and adherence to HACCP and other kitchen regulations
