We are recruiting on behalf of our client, who boasts an excellent reputation and has been awarded 1 Rosette. The hotel has a locally sourced, fresh produce menu.
We are looking for a Chef de Partie to work with the kitchen team and help move the restaurant’s food offering forward.
·Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality
·Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you
·Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus
·Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
·Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
What skills do I need?
·Great cooking skills
·A cool head
·An ability to delegate appropriately
·A grasp of profit margins
In Brief you should have or be:-
• At Least 1 year experienced chef in a Hotel or banqueting facility
• A steady progressive CV
• An extremely hands-on and positive approach to their work
• Extensive knowledge and skill set with fresh food
• Must have pride in your work
• Passionate about training and developing Chefs
• Be creative, open minded and ambitious
