Our client is looking for a passionate and creative Commis Chef for the newest addition to their group of family run restaurants. Their new restaurant & seafood bar is located on the Southsea seafront; dishes are all created using fresh, locally sourced produce.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced chef who is looking for an opportunity to join a talented, well established brigade and further their career. They will show enthusiasm, energy, a keenness to embrace new ideas. They will have the ability to help with menu ideas and will have worked within a busy commercial kitchen environment, preparing dishes using fresh produce.
·Managing your own section
·Preparing menu items in accordance with the Head Chef’s instructions
·Working closely with/supporting senior chefs
·Maintaining the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene
·Awareness and adherence to HACCP and other kitchen regulations
