An Experienced chef is required for a one rosette country house hotel restaurant situated on the dazzling shores of the iconic lake Windermere.
You will be working with aa a Junior Sous chef along side a well established Head Chef who is looking to push on for 2 AA rosettes. You must be experienced in fresh award-winning cuisine and have a passion and desire to help achieve more culinary accolades. The hotel is well known for fine dining and afternoon teas.
The kitchen is well equipped with modern and relevant equipment and offers a great work life balance. The position would suit a current CDP looking to move up the ladder or an established Junior Sous ready to push themselves to achieve progression.
You will need to have at least one full year’s experience in a restaurant producing all dishes from scratch. You will need to have experience running various sections in a busy kitchen, have up-to date knowledge of modern and classical food trends as well as excellent hygiene practices and a current up to date hygiene certificate and allergen awareness.
