We are now recruiting for experienced Kitchen Manager for A Small Hotel in the Leigh Area close to East Lancs Road.
The Hotel has a small pub connected to it that serves a small selection of Bar food Breakfast is served buffet style, lunch from the Bar menu and dinner is served Buffet style for around 20-40 guests depending on business. The weekend comprises off occasional weddings or birthday celebrations with this in mind some banqueting experience may be beneficial you are supported by one other chef on a 5-day week and also a Permanent Breakfast chef breakfast chef. Fresh produce and locally sourced meats are used you will have full support of the management team and have full control of the buffet menu.

We are looking for someone who will drive our restaurant to help to develop the food offering and keep pace with an ever changing customer demand? One of the main objectives is to work alongside the Restaurant Manager to deliver a new and innovative Gastro Menu to excite and entice our customers. We are looking for someone to work hand in hand with our new Manager to deliver that authentic honest fresh food.

This is not the most glamourous of hotels, it is basic and so is the food offering. Would suit someone who has worked as a pub chef or a kitchen manager in a chain restaurant or someone looking for an easier life. please be aware that your skills as a chef do not have to be rosette standard just honest good food done right. Social hours and some weekends off maximum hours would be 40 hours per week.
