Saffron Vanilla are working on behalf of a very prominent and award winning 2 AA rosette standard restaurant in the heart of Liverpool’s culture quarter.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Pastry Chef to help run the Pastry section, you will be preparing fine dining desserts; Brasserie style desserts; petit fours, Macaroons, and frangipane all from scratch as well as breads and other yeast products served in the Restaurant.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Pastry chef looking for the next move or a step up in quality you will be joining a kitchen where you will be working with modern equipment to create dishes that follow the latest trends and are created with the most Modern and classical techniques. You will have the support of the Executive chef, Head chef and Owner who is an award-winning chef and will be part of the senior team in the kitchen. This position would suit either an established Pastry chef or Pastry CDP looking for progression.
As a Pastry Chef you should
·A background working in similar hotel or restaurants with or preferably at AA Rosette or a similar standard.
·Have ambition to Succeed and be part of an award-winning team
·Knowledge of modern and classical techniques
·Possess the ability to adapt to a variety of different menus and cooking styles is essential.
All applicants should have stable CVs with at least 2 years Pastry Experience in a similar role.
