Stunning 4 Star Hotel on the Island of Anglesey, boasting a solid reputation for excellent standard of food the Hotel is requiring an experienced Sous chef to help run the kitchen and train the team to reach the next level. The hotel consists of a casual style restaurant serving classic dishes all produced fresh from the kitchen as well as using local produce. The Hotel also has several banqueting areas and is a large mainstay of the business therefore the ideal candidate would be well versed in both banqueting and restaurant work.
Working alongside the hotel management and the head chef you will be responsible for the day to day running of the kitchen and the training of the kitchen team to a high standard.
·Running the kitchen when the head chef is away
·Ensuring your brigade has high culinary standards
·Managing food purchasing and storage
·Maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
·Helping create new recipes and write menus
