This beautiful Cheshire pub is currently looking for an experienced and dynamic Sous Chef with a background of working in rosette accredited venues. You will take full charge of the existing brigade on Head Chef days off to ensure the highest quality of food production, using all fresh and local produce to deliver exceptional mouth-watering menus.
The menu offers classic British favourites created with flair and to a standard that creates a talking point within the local area and also features dishes inspired by flavours from across the globe alongside classic grills and fresh seafood.
Basic Salary: £23-£26k
Healthcare: Private medical cover through BUPA (after 12 months service)

Ideally with a proven and solid background working in a similar style venue, you will be capable of controlling all aspects of the kitchen operation, including involvement in recruitment and training of staff, food safety compliance, and maintaining financial control.
As a key figurehead of the kitchen, you will be expected to input into the design and specification of menu’s working within the brand guidelines.Uphold food quality standards in terms of taste, presentation & service in a style upholding the highest of standards. You will support in the directing and motivating of the kitchen brigade in conjunction with the general manager, delegating and communicating responsibilities effectively will also be a requirement of the role.
